Lanta Residence offers premier accommodations on the beautiful island of Koh Lanta. Our properties are fully licensed with a hotel license, making them ideal for both short- and long-term stays. We feature spacious pool villas located on Malee Beach (Long Beach) and Baan Kirikhan near Klong Khong Beach, offering stunning sea views. Reservations are easy, with direct booking options available at each villa, providing instant confirmation. Additionally, you can arrange for transfers from the most common destinations to make your arrival as smooth as possible.
In addition to our villas, we also manage apartments and townhouses through Sai Naam Lanta Co. Ltd. These are nestled around a large 600+ sqm pool, which includes two dedicated children’s areas. Adjacent to the pool, Sai Naam Lanta’s Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a diverse menu that includes Thai cuisine, Western dishes, and a popular Kids menu. Guests are welcome to relax with a book from our library or borrow games, pencils, and papers to keep the little ones entertained. Each apartment and townhouse is uniquely furnished, reflecting the personal style of its private owner, making every stay a unique experience.

Wild animals, including macaque monkeys, are common on Koh Lanta. Snakes can also be found, especially during the green season—though sightings are rare. Inform children to avoid running through tall grass.
There are numerous ATMs on Koh Lanta for withdrawing cash. Banks include Thanachart Bank and Siam Commercial Bank in Saladan, Kasikorn Bank at Klong Dao Beach, and Thai Government Bank next to Lanta Hideaways office at Long Beach.
In Thailand, driving is on the left side of the road. Traffic accidents, including fatal ones, occur annually. Drinking and driving has decreased due to more frequent police checks and fines. The Lanta Bridge, completed in 2016, connects Lanta Yai with Lanta Noi.
For snorkeling, consider a four-island tour that includes the Emerald Cave, where you swim through a 40-meter S-shaped tunnel to reach an exotic lagoon inside the mountain. Best visibility is from October to April. Sai Naam can assist with booking various tours and will arrange pick-up and drop-off at your villa or apartment.
Lanta Mart in Saladan offers a limited selection of diapers and baby food in various brands. Diapers can also be found at 7-Eleven stores across Koh Lanta. Baby seats and cushions for transport can be requested when booking minibus transfers through Sai Naam Lanta. See the transfer section for more details.
In Thailand, it is illegal to sunbathe topless. While wearing a bikini or swimsuit on the beach is acceptable, showing respect is important. When visiting villages, restaurants, or shops, dress appropriately in shorts, a t-shirt, a sarong, or similar clothing.
The risk of stomach issues on Koh Lanta is low. Ice is made from drinking water, so you can enjoy chilled drinks without concern.
All villas and apartments rented through Sai Naam Lanta are equipped with fiber optic internet and private WiFi routers. Many restaurants offer free WiFi for guests. Thai SIM cards with up to 4G speed can be purchased at 7-Eleven stores or phone shops on Koh Lanta. Remember to bring your passport, as SIM cards need to be registered at purchase.
Genuine local markets are held at various locations around Koh Lanta depending on the day. It’s a great opportunity to explore with a local and learn more! Markets are open all year and usually operate from 12 PM to 6 PM.

Lanta Hospital is located in the old town, and the Saladan Health Center operates year-round. Several private medical clinics along the main road are open during the high season and collaborate with International SOS-certified hospitals in Trang, Krabi, or Phuket.
Mosquitoes are common in Thailand, and Dengue fever occasionally occurs. Use mosquito repellent, which is available on Koh Lanta, and wear protective clothing to avoid bites.
Buoys in the sea alert twelve masts with speakers installed throughout the island. Several emergency drills have been conducted over the years to ensure the system’s effectiveness, making Koh Lanta a very safe place in case of future tsunami events.
